WHO WE ARE
Surge Bangladesh is a youth-led organization (YLO) registered under the Department of Youth Development (DYD). Since its inception in 2015, Surge Bangladesh has operated as a non-profit organization committed to community peacebuilding, civic engagement, human rights, democratic society, inclusive society, preventing disinformation, PVE, and protecting vulnerable populations through community development and emergency response in Chittagong, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Rangamati. Surge has since expanded its reach nationwide, with a core focus on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4, 5, 10, 13, and 16.

Surge Adolescent Protection Program
Empowering adolescents with knowledge and skills to navigate social challenges, promote peace, and combat disinformation.
🔹 Peace Building Training (2020, 2021, 2022) – Equipping youth with conflict resolution and peace-building strategies.
🔹 Workshop on Peace Building – Fostering dialogue and collaboration for sustainable peace.
🔹 PDT – Preventing Disinformation Training – Addressing misinformation and enhancing media literacy.

Providing quality education and learning opportunities for underprivileged children.
🔹 Surge Community School – A dedicated educational initiative for marginalized youth.
🔹 Education Program in Surge Orphan Center – Academic support tailored for orphaned students.
📌 Impact: Supported 170 orphan students and established the Surge Orphan Center in Khagrachari as a permanent educational facility.
